David Hamilton assists clients in every area of family law, including divorce, custody, guardianship, and all related areas. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judicial law clerk in the State of Delaware’s Family Court, where he researched all aspects of family law and was substantially involved in drafting and editing orders regarding family law matters. He actively participated in courtroom proceedings, case management conferences, and pretrial conferences.

His work experience also includes serving as a law clerk for the Delaware Department of Justice, as an intern at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, as an intake specialist for Delaware Volunteer Legal Services and as a law clerk in private practice, as well.

In law school, he served as a staff editor for the Widener Law Review and participated in both ADR competitions and the school’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.

When he is not at work, he is an avid tennis player, marathon runner and sports enthusiast. David is also an Eagle Scout.
