David Hamilton is a dedicated family law attorney who represents clients in all areas of family law, including divorce, custody, alimony and spousal support, child support, and equitable distribution. He is passionate about helping clients navigate emotionally charged and complex family matters with clarity, strategy, and practical guidance.

David is committed to guiding clients through some of the most challenging times in their lives. With honest and open communication, he helps clients navigate the emotional and financial complexities of divorce and custody matters, while developing thoughtful, lasting solutions to the legal issues that affect their daily lives.

Before entering private practice, David served as a judicial law clerk in the Family Court of the State of Delaware, where he participated in courtroom proceedings and assisted in drafting judicial opinions. His experience also includes work with the Delaware Department of Justice, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Delaware Volunteer Legal Services, and a private personal injury firm.

He earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School, where he served as a staff editor for the Widener Law Review, competed in alternative dispute resolution competitions, and completed the school’s Intensive Trial Advocacy Program.

Outside the office, David enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing with his dog Theo, and staying active through running and tennis. He is also proud to be an Eagle Scout.
