Doylestown, PA – Partner Robert J. Salzer of Williams Family Law, P.C. once again laced up his skates over Labor Day Weekend to join professional players and hockey legends for the 12th Annual Hockey Helps 24-hour marathon in Long Island, NY. The event raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities that provide vital support to individuals battling addiction, mental health issues, and cancer, and also supported economically disadvantaged children and youth. Since its founding, Hockey Helps has generated more than $6 million for regional nonprofits.
Salzer played alongside a well-known present and past NHL lineup that included Adam Graves, Mike Hartman, Benoit Hogue, Stephane Matteau, Stefan Matteau, Brian Mullen, Colton Orr and Steve Webb.
“This event is one of the highlights of my year,” said Salzer, a lifelong hockey player, from his childhood days through college, law school, and now in a men’s league. “The chance to play with such incredible athletes while raising money for people in need—it’s a powerful reminder of the good that can come from community and teamwork.”
A fellow of the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Salzer focuses on divorce, spousal support, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and high-conflict child custody cases, particularly those involving financially complex matters. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, The Catholic University School of Law (J.D.), and Boston University School of Law (LL.M., Taxation), and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
